Michael D. Robinson

Founder, Principal Architect
Michael works with clients to address their design concerns from concept to construction.
His expertise lies in many areas: architecture, design, construction oversight, cost control, site development, value engineering, project management. Michael works to solve clients’ design problems with sensible architectural solutions.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. and a Master of Architecture degree from the NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, CA. He is also a 2014 graduate of the AIA Memphis Emerging Leaders Program and a 2013 graduate of the SBA Emerging Leaders Program.
He currently serves as the President of SDNOMA, the newly formed San Diego chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects.
Michael and Carolyn are proud members of the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP). Michael is also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certificate holder, and a member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA)

Carolyn manages Robi4’s business operations and is vital in executing its marketing and outreach strategies.
She brings a depth of experience in the following areas: architecture, design, project management, client services, and marketing.
Carolyn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN.
